I went up to the Sally Gap in the Wicklow Mountains last weekend to see the purple heather blanketing the hillsides. September is the ideal time of year to go because the heather is in full bloom and the weather hasn’t turned to cold yet. I first visited around the same time last year. It’s so striking and unforgettable, an authentic Irish landscape that is both beautiful and bleak at the same time.
There was a slight chill in the air, so I was happy to have this Zara biker jacket. I’d had my eye on this for a while, and it went in and out of stock twice before I got my hands on it. It’s such a flattering cut and the material is a dreamy mix of suede and scuba. It’s the perfect transitional piece. The moment I saw the pleated print dress I knew it would be the perfect addition to my fall wardrobe, the colors are ideal and the baby doll silhouette complements most body types. Finally, sock boots complete the look, and are a staple it this A/W. I’ve worn them with everything from dresses to leggings – so versatile!
