I just had to post some of our engagement photos from last month. My fiance and I could not be happier with the images shot by our friend, Wesley Anderson (http://www.thisiswesleyanderson.com/). We shot them in Seattle, on a typically gray Seattle day, and I have to say that I love the diffused light the clouds provided.
We started off at the King Street Train Station, which we picked because we felt it was very representative of our long distance relationship, and I waited many times at this very station for the train to take me up to Vancouver to see him. I also just love the white marble interior and the gold accents and fixtures. For this location I styled us in timeless classics. What I’m wearing: Painter Tee by JCrew, textured full skirt by H&M, Xenia pointy toe pump by BP, leather watch by Skagen. What he’s wearing: rolled neck cardigan by H&M, picnic plaid tunic by JCrew, khaki pants by H&M.
Then, we went for a stroll in Pioneer Square and found this amazing ivy wall. From there, Wesley knew of a parking garage with an amazing panoramic view of downtown and the Puget Sound. For these locations I went with Seattle classics, plaids and boots. What I’m wearing: chain trim fedora by Nordstrom, leather jacket by Zara, white v-neck tee by Topshop, side-zip jeans by J Brand, black suede booties by Sam Edelman. What he’s wearing: puffer vest by H&M, plaid shirt by H&M, jeans by Topman, leather watch by Skagen.
When we were done, we went for a beautiful brunch at the London Plane. I highly suggest this adorable little restaurant for your next trip to Seattle. It’s a serious Instagram hotspot!
